Tour fans need food too! The Tour de France Fan Parks have teamed up with Foodies Festivals.

The Tour de France comes to Yorkshire this week and fan parks are being set up both in Harrogate & London. The fan parks have teamed up with Foodies Festival to provide cycling fans with an array of top food & drinks traders and of course, lots of entertainment throughout the event. If you're lucky enough to live in Yorkshire or London, get yourself down to the fan park, the atmosphere will be incredible and a real treat for all of us.

Starting in Harrogate from July 3-6th, and then moving down to Green Park and Trafalgar Square in London from the 5-7th, before finishing at Canary Wharf for the race finale on July 24-27th, there's plenty of time to plan your trip and get in on th action.

The organisers of the Fan Parks, which were a huge success in 2013, have teamed up with Foodies to bring this year’s cycling enthusiasts a buzzing festival of entertainment, food, drinks, and everything bike-related. Street food traders and retail stalls will be set up in all four locations, alongside live music, competitions and performances. There will be a big crowd, and an even bigger atmosphere.

There are plenty of spaces for budding entrepreneurs and local food producers to get in on this event, which will be excellent for both publicity and sales. The focus is on high-quality, local produce and street food, so if that sounds like your niche, this is probably the event for you.

You can book a space for your business at any one of the events, or for all of them if the mood takes you. The Tour de France attracts big crowds, with celebrities guaranteed to be making appearances, and the Fan Parks are running all day for several days in a row, which means you can be sure to make a tidy profit, not to mention the repeat business you’re sure to get from visitors who remember your product.

Each stall will have a 7x3ft table under a 7x7ft roof area, giving 2ft of overhang on both sides of the stall. The stalls are priced at £600 per metre frontage (£1200 per stall), but with between 50,000-20,000 visitors in each location last year, and more expected this year, this is a very good investment. Plenty of trader spaces are still available, so contact [email protected] or call at 0131 2264939 for more information or to book a spot.
