Who doesn’t love a foodie pop-up? It’s a fun way to try a new food genre or drink brand. From artisan gin to slow food and everything in between, what can we look forward to seeing in 2018? Here, we round up the most innovative foodie pop-ups to hit the capital in the next few months.

Love gin? We are with you and are excited about Hot Gin Roof, which is currently taking place on the roof terrace of the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho. Gin cocktails are served up on a red-hot poker whilst you snuggle up in front of an open fire underneath a blanket. Cosy!

Korean-style food is always a favourite at ‘foodie tower’ and we cannot wait to take a trip to Mookrata on Shaftesbury Avenue for their Korean-style Thai barbecue. Like no other barbecue that you have experienced (forget undercooked chicken and unwanted salads!), expect to try a smoked broth with sliced meats in single-serving bowls. If you are looking for a different kind of BBQ joint where you can enjoy typical Korean fare, then Mookrata needs to be on your ‘must-visit’ list. Even poker players who stay indoors are after a delicious BBQ that sizzles!

If you yearn for all things vintage, then why not head over to The Candlelight Club in London? Immerse yourself in a real vintage world where there is dining and live entertainment to boot. And don’t forget to check out the many vintage clothing shops throughout the capital to make sure that you dress the part! Expect a glamorous night out filled with gin, jazz and scrumptious food!

We love to travel and explore different culinary specialties, but sadly, we don’t always have the luxury of time to travel as often as we would like. Get your fix of international cuisine without leaving the city thanks to the innovative pop-up Around the World in 80 Days. Here you will get to mix things up and eat five courses from as many countries from around the world. One moment you’ll be in the hawker markets of Hong Kong and the next, it will feel like you are in the bustling back street cafes of Bombay.

Whether you love old-school hip-hop or prefer the latest hip-hop tracks, look no further than Hip Hop Brunch LDN, which includes delicious food and refreshing cocktails topped off with a Hip Hop Karaoke event — all in the company of your friends! The soundtrack will feature all the classic hip-hop anthems blended with your favourite hits of today. Box fresh!

We are still very much at the start of 2018, and without a doubt, there will be some exciting foodie pop-ups to check out throughout the year. Foodie pop-ups make for a fun night out with your friends, giving you the opportunity to try new food in and have a unique experience that you will never forget. What foodie pop-ups will you be trying this year?
