The UK Rum Festival – Bristol’s best boozy event – returns to The Passenger Shed this July 7th.

This July 7th, the UK Rum Festival returns to the bustling city of Bristol for its 6th consecutive year, bringing with it a diverse and dynamic range of rums for you to sample and savour. Showcasing over 50 sensational spirits from spiced to aged such as Ron Cubay, Skipper and Elements 8, this event is your opportunity to truly celebrate this often overlooked spirit.

Tired of the public’s perception of rum as a beverage that is best enjoyed with coke, Jon Rees, the founder of the UK Rum Festival, wanted to prove to the UK and the rest of the world that this diverse spirit deserves your attention. Whether you’re a self-professed rum-lover or you’ve yet to be convinced of this cane spirit, the rum festival aims to turn all sceptics into true believers.

Giving an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their best and most flavoursome beverages, Bristol’s UK Rum Festival brings Caribbean flair to this cultural capital and is an event not to be missed. Every bottle of rum has its own captivating tale to tell, and with countless rum experts at hand, you’ll learn all about the fascinating journey from cane to bottle.

For just the price of an entry ticket, you’ll get an opportunity to sample each of the world’s finest rums in attendance in addition to live music from Duo Flew Sounds of Steel, Caribbean and BBQ Food by Low n’ Slow Bristol, the chance to try a fantastic creation at one of the three cocktail bars, and many more surprises still yet to be announced. For just an additional £20, you’ll get access to the relaxing and secret Tiki room just outside the main festival area where you’ll get your very own special cocktail served in a limited-edition Tiki Mug from Tiki Cocktail Box which you’ll get to take home. This £20 also unlocks a few added extras including a range of exclusive cocktails, exotic music, a guided tour to the world of Tiki, and a whole lot more.

What better way to celebrate the sunny weather (or take refuse from the rain) than chilling out with a cool and delicious rum-infused cocktail as you chat the day away with your close friends?!! With dedicated chill-out zones all over The Passenger Shed and live music guaranteed to get you giddy, sit back and relax and let the rum work its way through your body, heightening the delicious smells of the streetfood stools from all over the world around you.

Entry is available for just £30, with VIP entry available for just £20 more (Tiki room access is included in the VIP ticket or can be purchased separately for the price of £25). Available on a limited basis – just 50 tickets – their events sponsors Thomas Henry is offering a £10 discount using the code THOMASHENRY, so make sure you don’t miss out on this special promotion and book your tickets to Bristol’s best boozy event now.
