Forget Germany, forget Munich – don your lederhosen (or your dirndl for that matter) and head to the streets of Aberdeen to experience the joys of Oktoberfest without getting on a plane. If you haven’t got your own traditional dress, don’t worry – there’s on on-site shop where you can pick up a costume to get you in the spirit.
The giant tent, with space for 2,000 people, will be open throughout the five-day event, with more beer, food and music than you can shake a stick at.
Sunday is a day for families, offering delicious bratwurst for lunch as well as some real-life Bavarian bands to keep you entertained. Flown in straight from southern Germany, you’ll be dancing on the tables to hits like 'Zikke Zakke' and 'Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit' (don't worry, we'll help you).
If you’re visiting with a group of friends, make sure you get the best seats in the house by booking yourself an all-inclusive package. Food, beer and seat reservations are available for only £34-£44.
