Now in its fifth year, Malton’s premier craft beer celebration, BEERTOWN, is back to turn the town into a ‘theatre of beer’. Taking place from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th May at The Milton Rooms in the centre of Malton, the event will showcase over 60 of the most exciting beers from the best breweries in the UK and beyond.
Malton is a town famed for its beer, boasting two successful breweries – Brass Castle and Bad Seed – that produce popular traditional beers alongside outstanding new-wave varieties. BEERTOWN brings these breweries together to celebrate the town’s rich brewing history, and encourage beer-lovers to get excited about the industry’s promising future.
The event features a comprehensive beer list that showcases an eclectic range of beers in both cask and keg form. From pale ale and stout, to sours and saisons, even the most discerning of beer-drinkers are sure to be impressed.
To soak up all that alcohol there’ll be an array of local artisan street-food vendors on-hand with a range of tasty offerings, including tacos, noodles, bao and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Live music on the Friday and Saturday will make BEERTOWN a shindig not to be missed.
The event raises money for Ryedale Special Families, a fantastic local charity that supports families with children and young adults with special needs. If you'd like to keep up to date with this year's event and special offers, head over to their website and sign up to the mailing list.
