You've missed this event

Bristol Food Connections festival is a citywide celebration of food of epic proportions. For ten days in June, Bristol shines a light on what makes its unique food culture that Bristol owns so proudly. Bringing together residents, visitors, producers, consumers, businesses, families, chefs, charities, schools, brewers…. And everyone else, we discover the city in a way that can only be described as a complete celebration of all things FOOD. Festival goers can choose from an enticing list of free and ticketed events, including (but not limited to) city-wide food tours, creative workshops, expert led panel discussions, and community feasts for all. The festival brings a cornucopia of events that are sure to tantalise and tempt, educate and enlighten. Wander through Blaise Castle Estate on a foraging tour, or delve into the art of fermentation. Join in on a boozy brunch, or bring your little ones to a cook along. There will also be demos from the likes of Elly Curshen, Genevieve Taylor, Josh Eggleton, Briony May and more, while Bristol Food Connections hosts talks and debates surrounding the important issues that arise when thinking towards our future; how can we farm sustainably? When should you start weaning your child? And IS vegan the healthiest diet? Join the incredible people, businesses, and organisations that are continuously creating this gastronomic city of dreams, paying attention to every aspect of the journey of food from field to fork.
