Now in its 13th year, the Capel le Ferne farmer’s market is thriving. Bringing all the best local produce from the region every Tuesday, you’ll find everything you could need and more.
Every Tuesday, at the Capel Village Hall, you’ll find fresh farmers’ produce – fruit and veg is supplied direct from Covent Garden, meat is locally-sourced and dairy is supplied from Kent and Sussex. You’ll also find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere next to none.
The benefits of supporting and shopping at a local farmers market are absolutely endless. You’ll be helping to keep food miles down and thus helping the environment, supporting local farmers and the local economy, and best of all you’ll be keeping prices down for yourself, whilst knowing where your food is coming from.
Not only can you feel good about yourself for going along to the farmer’s market, it’s also a chance to indulge in some guilty pleasures – visit the café with friends and chill out with some mouth-watering cake.
Registered with Produced in Kent and The Kent Farmers Market Association, the market won the Taste of Kent Awards in 2004, and was given five-star ratings by Dover District Council as well as Environmental Health Department.
So get down and local at Capel’s farmers’ market!
