Over two weekends this September and October, The Old Crown Digbeth’s beer garden will be transformed into a heated Bavarian beer hall for the annual German bash, Oktoberfest. The beer hall will decked out, featuring traditional décor, bench seating and table service for up to 350 guests per night.        

It’s the third Oktoberfest at the venue – this year with even more fantastic street food, all with a German twist. Local street food legends Original Patty Men, Baked in Brick and The Bournville Waffle Company will be serving up their classic indulgences, with added Bavarian-themed options. Expect Bavarian burgers, BBQ sausage with masala sauce and apple strudel waffles.

There will be a wide selection of drinks on offer at this year’s Oktoberfest from German larger, German Gin, German wine and an Oktoberfest themed cocktails bar. This year our draft beer will be from have German ABK brewery. The brewery dates back over 700 years and continues to use the same locally grown Hallertau hops and grains from the same local farms in Barvarian.

On top of this, there’ll be a full line up of entertainment from DJs, live bands such as Boston Brass, and some traditional Oktoberfest games throughout the evening.

Tickets cost just £15 in advance and are exchanged on the door for a glass stein and vouchers for a free 2 pints of fantastic German beer from the historic German ABK Brewery.
