You've missed this event

Vegans and serious dirty food lovers, get ready. This isn’t your usual food festival, and it’s definitely not vegan food as you know it. This is vegan food gone bad – we’re not talking Buddha bowls. We’re not talking chick pea salads. We’re talking downright indulgent deep fried buffalo wings, chocolate brownie mud pies, red Thai curry pots and chip butties. This is feel-good fodder breaking boundaries and cracking carnivores. Revolutionary street food marketeers KERB are behind this unique London food battle, in which eight carefully chosen traders leading the way for street food in the UK will be cooking up the most impressive dishes to battle it out for KERB’s golden carrot. It’s all down to you. First, you must sample the grub each contender has to offer, included with your ticket. Next, decision time! Rack your brains for the most deserving dish, and log it on the VEG wall of fame. Among the lineup is Petare – reigning KERB battle champions – serving up a Venezuelan ‘chip butty’ arepa stuffed with cassava chips, sweet fried plantain, “feta”, avocado and garlic sauce. Joining them will be the likes of the brilliantly-named Greedy Khao, making all your Thai dreams come true, plus many more. On top of all this, expect beer and cocktail bars serving up vegan bevs, live music from KERB resident DJs and if you’re not entertained enough already, a Mr Potato Head’s vegetable decorating corner. What more could you possibly want? Perceptions will be shifted. Mouths will water. Meat will be shunned. Tickets are disappearing fast, don't miss out!
