Now in its ninth year, this festival gets bigger, better and more popular each time around, so 2017’s festival is set to be an absolute cracker. Neath’s local authority set up the festival to promote local food and drink businesses, encourage people from the area to shop locally, and educate visitors on the benefits of reducing food miles.

South Wales is overflowing with fantastic produce, including meat, vegetables, cider, beer, cakes and a whole lot more, and will all be showcased in this one central location.

Around 70 to 75 exhibitors will be lining the beautiful cobbled streets and there will also be plenty of entertainment, so there'll never be a dull moment during this three-day festival. You can watch an array of cookery demos featuring top local chefs, go on guided foraging walks, partake in some cask ale tasting, listen to live music, or even enter a Bake Off-style competition. Little ones, meanwhile, can be kept busy at the children’s cookery workshop. Best of all, though, is the chance to support your local community by purchasing and enjoying tasty fresh food from the passionate local producers.
