Newcastle International & Local Christmas Market
Friday November 17 2017to Sunday December 10 2017
You've missed this event
This market brings us gourmet ingredients and a very real taste of Europe. You can get a currywurst from Germany, waffles from Holland, paella from Spain and crepes – both sweet and savoury from France.
Those with a sweet tooth will jump for joy at the scent of freshly cooked waffles and crepes, and of course there is the usual mouth watering Continental fare. If that doesn’t getting your blood sugar levels buzzing for Christmas then the array of crafty stalls will certainly get you in the festive mood. In true Continental market style, you’ll find a sack full of cool gifts, local and European produce and amazing arts and crafts. You could probably do all of your Christmas shopping here and have a nice sit down and a currywurst at the end of it.

This market welcomes stall holders from closer to home. There are beers from local microbreweries, home-made jams, delicious cakes and handmade chocolates. And once you’ve bought something scrumptious to eat, you can find special gifts such as scarves, leather bags, hand-thrown pottery, woolly hats and jewellery. And you know if it’s at our Christmas Market it’s going to be that little bit more special.
