Gardens, lakes and a celebration of local produce – Surrey Hills is bursting onto the scene this year with its inaugural foodie fest in the wholesome setting of Coverwood Farm in Peaslake.
Getting right to the heart of food preparation, in the theatre arena you’ll find Surrey’s finest performing butchery demonstration of epic proportions. With the tremendous support of Surrey County Agricultral Society Farmers Market, dozens of delicious local producers will be on display too.
There will be plenty in store for the youngsters, who can get up to a number of fun activities such as arts and crafts and the wonderful Surrey cows and minimoos Cow Parade. Rest assured you don’t have to be pint-sized to appreciate a good minimoo!
If you like to get hands on or simply feel you’re in need of some survival skills head to the ‘Down in the Woods’ display where you can learn some bush craft cookery. There’s so much more to discover on the day including the vines BMW and Mini experience, the variety offered by the festival is sure to have you running to the hills!
